Yes. Pooch Kaboose has strict standards to insure that both you, and your new furry friend, are given the best chance for happiness and success. Through the Application Process we carefully match dogs with the most appropriate families, to insure a long and loving relationship for you and your pet. We consider both your wishes for a pet, and living situation, and the temperment and breed of the dog. But don’t worry! There is a dog for almost every family or person. Our goal is to complete families with matches that deliver joy and long term satisfaction.

Pooch Kaboose will learn your living situation — presence of children, other pets, fenced yard, your mobility, time at home,  and more, to help match the needs of pets and your personal preferences. For example: Do you enjoy exercising an active pup, or prefer a lap dog to cuddle? All these questions help us complete happy homes for you and your new friend. Your application is good for one year, and helps us both determine a match the meets our goal of forever homes.

Pooch Kaboose meticulously meets all dog shelter standards, for health and safety of our precious pets. We are pet care advocates, and our care and attention shows. Dogs will be spayed or neutered, brought current on all shots, microchipped, Dewormed, loving groomed and examined, and provided the best in tender loving care as we prepare them for their adoption family. Your tax deductible adoption fees cover these ever increasing health costs, and operational overhead, to provide health and happy pets.
